The long journey to having a child was experienced by the couple, Mother Nadia and her husband. This couple took up to 2 years to finally conceive.
As a couple with a strong desire to have offspring, Mother Nadia and her husband had tried various fertility programs, ranging from natural conception attempts to intrauterine insemination (IUI).
However, their first IUI program did not result in the desired two positive lines.
Only One Fallopian Tube Remaining
Mother Nadia had previously undergone an HSG (Hysterosalpingography) examination, the results of which showed hydrosalpinx in the right fallopian tube. Hydrosalpinx is a condition where a fallopian tube is blocked and contains an accumulation of fluid. This condition can impede the fertilization process of the egg by sperm.
Mother Nadia then underwent a laparoscopic salpingectomy in early 2024. This procedure is a minimally invasive surgery to remove the fallopian tube. As the name suggests, this procedure only requires a small incision in the abdomen, which will not leave a large scar.

Eventually, Mother Nadia was left with only one fallopian tube. Previously, many suggested that this couple should pursue an In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) program as the only way to achieve pregnancy. Finally, this second attempt at IUI resulted in the long-awaited two positive lines. In early April 2025, their little angel, a baby girl, was born.
