Dr. Shanty Olivia completed her medical school in 2005 and her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2010 at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia. She participated in a clinical fellowship program in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the same university and completed the program in 2018.
She is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Indonesian Obstetrics and Gynecology Association, membership and registration committee of IAIVF (Indonesian In Vitro Fertilization Association), ASPIRE (Asia Pacific Initiative on Reproduction), and ESHRE (European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology).
Dr. Olivia is also an active researcher at the Center for Reproduction Research, Fertility, and Family Planning in Indonesia, with a research focus in the field of IVF. Her research on the correlation between the morphology of Three Pronuclei (3PN) embryos and chromosomal abnormalities in IVF-ICSI patients formed the basis of her thesis, leading to a research degree in reproductive medicine.
As a mother of two, Dr. Olivia enjoys traveling and culinary tourism to fill her leisure time.
