Prof. Dr. dr. Budi Wiweko (Professor Iko)

Prof. DR. dr. Budi Wiweko, SpOG-KFER, MPH or who is familiarly called Prof. Iko graduated from the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, University of Indonesia in 2005, he continued his studies on ovarian tissue vitrification at Hyogo College of Medicine in Japan.He has conducted and published various studies in assisted reproductive technologies, particularly on Anti Mullerian Hormone, individualized controlled ovarian stimulation (iCOS), ovarian tissue vitrification and embryonic metabolomics.In the field of education, he is active as a coordinator trainer for the subspecialty education of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Indonesia.Apart from research and education, he is also active in professional organizations and currently serves as general secretary of IA IVF, and chairman of IA-IVF for the 2016-2020 period. He is also active in various regional organizations such as Asia Pacific Iniative on Reproduction (ASPIRE), Pacific Rim Fertility Society (PRFS), European Society for Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE), International Federation of Fertility Society (IFFS), American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), International Society for Fertility Preservation (ISFP) and American Association for Gynecology Laparoscopy (AAGL). Currently he is developing ovarian cryopreservation in Indonesia.
