400 IVF Babies Born, A New Happiness Engraved

After four years of operation, Bocah Indonesia has successfully facilitated the birth of 400 IVF babies from couples struggling with infertility. This figure has been recorded since Bocah Indonesia was established in May 2019.
To date, Bocah Indonesia has helped approximately 22,000* couples facing fertility challenges. The birth of 400 babies through the IVF program has brought immense joy to many “double-line warriors” who have long awaited the arrival of their little ones.
In addition, the Bocah Indonesia family continues to grow, with over 1,000 babies born through other fertility programs. Many couples have spent years trying to embrace their own child due to various fertility issues affecting either the mother or father.
A 9-Year Journey to Parenthood
One particularly inspiring story comes from Bunda Gusti and Ayah Marangin. This couple had been married for nine years before deciding to embark on a fertility journey with Bocah Indonesia in early 2022. Their path to parenthood was not easy, as they faced numerous challenges along the way.
The mother was diagnosed with bilateral fallopian tube blockage and had a low Anti-Müllerian Hormone (AMH) level of 0.4, making natural conception highly difficult.

Meanwhile, the father was diagnosed with oligoasthenoteratozoospermia, a condition that further reduced their chances of conceiving naturally.
Despite these obstacles, the couple never lost hope. They underwent various medical procedures, including hysteroscopy, as part of their fertility treatment plan.
Eventually, they opted for in vitro fertilization (IVF). Despite the long and demanding process, their unwavering determination paid off when, in April 2024, they finally welcomed their long-awaited twin babies into the world.
Success Rates at Bocah Indonesia
Bocah Indonesia benchmarks its success rates against international reports, including those from The Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA) in the UK and The Victorian Assisted Reproductive Treatment Authority (VARTA) in Australia. These are independent regulatory bodies that publish annual reports on IVF success rates.

Similarly, Bocah Indonesia’s success rates exceed the average IVF success rate reported by VARTA in 2023.
The 2023 VARTA Report (covering June 2022 – July 2023) recorded an average success rate of 35.4% for fresh and frozen cycles. Meanwhile, the average IVF success rate in Indonesia, according to PERFITRI (Indonesian Fertility Association) in 2017, was 29%.
